This is what the email said:

WE ARE PLEASED TO INFORM YOU TODAY 17th OF July 2008 THAT YOU HAVE JUST WON YOURSELF THE SUM OF 0ne million euro file number 623-880-1121.serial number 553442:Quote Your File and Serial Numbers! YOU ARE ADVICED TO CONTACT YOUR CLAIMS AGENT Mr.Jeffery Rice: Email:jjd.1@live.co.uk ,Sincerely, Hirotaka Nakara

So I contacted the guy and went through this whole prodecure where in gave him my name, credit card, etc. and now I haven't heard back from him. He said he was going to wire the money into my bank account but literally...nothing. and now I'm a little worried because I gave this guy all my information, and now he had my credit card and bank account no. and SS number and I am now starting to think it was a scam. but he seemed real so I'm not sure.

When do you think he'll send the money?

  5. You will get the money when h**l freezes over. Now, put the pipe down and call your bank before you get cleaned out.

You probably also want to contact the credit bureaus to place a fraud alert.
