  3. uhhh...good luck wit dat

  4. You can't do it  because while it does keep the money flowing in for a certain mad group of zealots  the definition of what is of what is and what is not "an alcohol related crash "is extremely ambigous at best.

I got this from a link that another poster had so kindly provided.

"Alcohol-impaired driving is among the most common contributors to motor vehicle crashes in the United States. In 2003, 17,013 individuals were killed in a motor vehicle crash in which the driver or other participant had a positive blood alcohol concentration (BAC), and 15,630 of those were above 0.08 percent, which is the legal limit for drivers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The 17,013 alcohol-related fatalities represent 40 percent of the 42,643 motor vehicle fatalities that occurred in 2003. Alcohol-related crashes are estimated to cost the public more than $50 billion yearly.

Here's the phrase that should jump out at you

"In 2003, 17,013 individuals were killed in a motor vehicle crash in which the driver or other participant had a positive blood alcohol concentration (BAC), and 15,630 of those were above 0.08 percent,"

Notice that it doesn't say "the driver AND  other participants" but rather  it says "the driver OR other participants"

So if hypothetically two couples went out for dinner ,a movie and then drinks and the driver did not drink but everyone else did  and they got into an accident that was clearly somebody else's fault  , the mad bean counters would ignore all of that and pad their already over- inflated stats by calling it an "alcohol related crash."

  5. Give me a couple miniutes and I'll get right back to ya............
