I like giving animals human names, but for some reason this really scares my friend!

I think an old fashioned name could work well though

something like Albert or Sebastian or Rupert for a boy, and something like Enid, Eve or Jessica for a girl could work well.

Does your kitten have a pedigree name? Maybe this could give you some inspiration? One of my cats is pedigree and his pedigree name is japanese, so I chose a japanese name for my cat.

Look up some baby names websites for some ideas.

We have two Bengals with very different purrsonalities and looks.

The first Bengal we bought, we named "Jambi" after a song by the band Tool. We love the song and band, and the name just fit with her looks.

The second Bengal we got, we named after the character "Fezzik" from The Princess Bride. The character Fezzik is a gentle giant, and isn't the brightest bulb in the pack - just like our Bengal boy.

So, think about different songs that you like, or different characters in movies you like. Even interests you have may bring a name to mind. Interested in mythology? Try looking up names of gods, goddesses, saints, angels, or demons. Also, since the Bengal is derived from the Asian Leopard Cat, perhaps consider looking up the word for "Handsome" or some such descriptive word in an Asian dialect. There are many free translation sites, like igoogle online that can help.
