  1. yes most parks have but there not any more safer than any thing else so what do you expect and the girl that lost her feet a wire came undone on one of those drop towers and hit her feet and cut them off i belive they got reatached though

  2. Yes, I beleive there was a girl who was riding the dropping tower ride (the name escapes me) and a cable got loose and the tension cut her legs (or feet) off. A girl who had heart problems got off a roller coaster there and died because of over excitement but that was not the coasters fault.

Really most rides are very safe and they do a lot of safety checks all day long so I would not be worried about it.

  3. Not sure--is that the one near D.C.? At Great Adventure they used to have a haunted house but didn't rebuild it when people died in a fire there. I think there have been others more recently. (And I think that was where a girl lost her feet recently.)

  4. dont worry. there havent been that many incidents at that park. i mean i go there every summer and i love it. you should really go it awesome. ride the raging bull and V2.

  5. hi. one girl got her feet cut off, one girl leaned her head back on the teacup ride, got hit by another teacup and got a concushtion,   and a few other                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               people die. id stick to bushgardens.

  6. I think so.

    But im not so sure.

  7. Yes, several problems have been with this park this is why I try to stay away from Six Flags' parks..

    Cajun Cliffhanger ~

On July 19, 2000, a 12-year-old girl from McHenry, Illinois suffered two crushed toes after the floor of the ride was improperly raised prior to the ride coming to complete stop. A second guest also had her foot trapped in this accident. The ride was permanently shut down as part of an out-of-court settlement. In the ten years prior to this accident, there were thirteen other reported incidents involving the Cajun Cliffhanger ride, at least six of which involved injuries.

    Camp Cartoon Network ~

On August 16, 2006, 10-year-old Jaclyn Silberman from Arlington Heights, Illinois collapsed and died after riding rides in the Camp Cartoon Network area. An autopsy showed that she died of a congenital heart condition. Her family says that she had a history of heart trouble.

    The Demon ~

On April 18, 1998, 23 riders on the Demon roller coaster were stranded upside-down in the middle of a vertical loop. Firefighters used a cherry picker to bring riders to safety, although some were on the ride for as long as three hours. The incident was the result of a mechanical failure.[25]

    The Edge ~

On May 22, 1984, 3 unnamed teenage boys were seriously injured when the ride vehicle fell back down the lift shaft.

    Hurricane Harbor ~

On June 29, 2005, 68-year-old Felipe Luna of Chicago, Illinois had a heart attack and died in the wave pool.

    Ragin' Cajun ~

On May 29, 2004, 52-year-old ride mechanic Jack Brouse of Zion, Illinois was killed by a roller-coaster car as he attempted to cross the tracks. Suffering from a traumatic head injury, he died at a local hospital.

    Raging Bull ~

On May 3, 2003, 11-year-old Erica Emmons of Gary, Indiana collapsed after riding the Raging Bull coaster. She died after being taken to the hospital. While initial reports said that she died from choking on taffy she had been eating while on the ride, the coroner's report later stated that she died due to an "enlarged heart" heart condition, and had been seeing a cardiologist for treatment.

    Willard's Whizzer ~

During an investigation of an accident at Great America in California in 1980 of their Willard's Whizzer coaster, the Consumer Product Safety Commission discovered two incidents that had not previously been reported at Six Flags Great America while under the ownership of the Marriott Corporation: on July 24, 1976, 13 guests were injured; and on August 18, 1976, 18 guests were injured. The CPSC report does not list injury or accident details for either incident.

    Hope this helps a lot!

    By the way...

On September 10, 2007, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited Great America with 38 safety violations, and fined the park US$117,700. OSHA has inspected Six Flags parks five different times from 2004 - 2007. In that time, OSHA only found four violations among Six Flags' 16 parks.

  8. A cable snapped on the Superman Tower of Power, cutting off a young girl's feet recently at a Six Flags park in Kentucky.
