Hey, im 13 years old and i made the cross country team at my school, and i need to know what would be the best thing to eat before i run and how long before do i eat? i run a 5:32 mile if that helps at all

i really dont want to get cramps, i have been running for 5 years but i always end up with cramps. Thank You! :]

  1. LOTSOF BANNANAS they are good in potassium which helps stop cramps from sarting.


  2. just eat alot of carbs, and stay well hydrated.

    an dont eat anything for lik an hour

  5. it depends on the person. some people get cramps from eating. i advise a snack bar and a bottle of water.

  6. you should eat complex carbs for energy like pastas.ALWAYS stretch thouroughly BEFORE running

  8. Eat some spaghetti around an hour before your run. Anything with carbohydrates is gonna help you. Drink lots of water too. Pre-hydration is the key to a good run.

    About the cramping, it's gonna happen eventually. The best you can do is soak in the tub after you run.
