will more people get rid of hummers, which waste lots of gas?

I don't own a hummer but i do have a suv, which i don't' plan on getting rid of. I am real tired of ppl saying that we WHO drive pickup trucks and suv are the reason gas is so high. If you stop and think about it we pay same price you do. I am paying $4.00 a gallon just the same as you. I just need to buy more that's all.

I can not have a small car, because my husband is 6 ft 4in and has a hard time in small cars, and i am crippled with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and it is hard for me to get in and out of small cars, we had a ford escort up until a couple of yrs ago, and every time we spent any time at all in it we both were aching for hours.

Why not put blame where it belongs on our Governments and  oil barons, and stop blaming other ppl just because of the type of car they drive.

even a saturn costs alot at those prices. We don't all live in the city. What do you drive?  own a  car?

My next car is going to be a slightly used big v8 sports car. With the resale value of v8s so low, I could spend the money saved to cover the higher price of gas, and still have money left over!
