Hey, teens, can I please have your opinion on this?

Question

I was just wondering what people thought of this situation. I was forced to take an ACT test prep class this summer (I can't reveal the company name--I'm afraid they'll track me down or something lol!) and it was pretty awful. The conditions were not worth the money. So I'll tell you the conditions and you guys can give me your thoughts:

Some room in a church, three tables, fifteen people.

On and off working bathrooms.

No windows, and a teacher that's only 19 who himself did not want to be there (he admitted it).

Very boring test mornings, a break for lunch, and long afternoon classes (three hours!).

Creepy janitors lurking.

No sub showed up one day so everyone had to call for rides to go home. How irresponsible, right?

we all had headaches.

We can't get a refund (aw!) but just tell me your thoughts, how long you could stand these conditions, etc. Thanx!

Sounds Awful! But if its that awful for the teachers think how bad it is for the students! besides the place probably has financial problems or something, probably give it time and they'll be sued for something and they'll be shut down.

The only suggestion I can give is complain to the district, county even and try to think of some fundraisers or people who will donate money and time for making it better!

It isnt summer camp its supposed to be h**l just acutually do your schoo work rather than sit on your butt and you wont have to go back

Of course the teachers not going to want to be there.  I mean unless you paid A LOT of money for the class, he probably doesn't want to teach an ACT test prep summer class.  The janitors probably aren't that creepy.  I'm sorry you had to all get rides home that day, that's totally not cool.  And headaches are bound to happen in anything to do with tests.   Hopefully it's only a week long.  I think you paid for the content of the lessons, not the bathrooms and amount of fun. Get used to it a lot of testing places are like this. Your not there to have fun.
