Hey, what's the best site to check train tickets and stuff in europe?

they suggested eurorail but i cant figure it out .. i'll be travelling to krakow, poland soon and i was thinking about visiting czeck republic and maybe germany too .. and i don't know how to check for tickets and prices ..

and what do you think is better, to go berlin from krakow or gdansk ?

One of the best sites for train travel here in Europe is the German rail site: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.e... You can use it to check schedules throughout Europe. You can also price and buy tickets for trains in Germany.

For figuring out prices for train tickets in Eastern Europe I use http://www.jizdenka.cz . Note that you cannot buy tickets at this site, it is just a nifty little tool for getting the best deal. For buying tickets you have to go to the national rail websites mentioned by conley39 above or buy at the ticket counter in the train station.
