  1. SMACK THAT IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE...YOU KNOW SMACK THAT (BALL) DOWN ON THE FLOOR

  2. Remember the name - Fort Minor

    Born To Win - Papoose

  3. I'm going to win nobody is going to stop me from winning .

  4. This is probably the longes answer you'll get, but it'll be the best. Here are 15 songs that I have played for my high school team when warming up before a game. Feel free to change up the order or add in more songs. You should also try asking some of the players some genres they like or what songs they might play during club practice if you're making this for school or vice versa. I also added little notes describing a good time to play the song and what feel it has. Enjoy & Good Luck !

    1. Kiss Kiss - Chris Brown ft. T-Pain

    - This is usually played when the coaches & manager (me!) set up the gym before the game. It's calms some of the players nerves without being too slow.

    2. Party Like a Rockstar - Shop Boyz

This song is to let the team know to play the best they can, but still have fun.

    3. Stronger - Kanye West

This is just a great song to play overall, hence "stronger" in the title. Maybe even a bit inspiring to the team.

    4. Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani

A classic that will always get the team pumped no matter how old this is or if half the team hates Gwen Stefani. The beat is crazy, so it'll get them ready.

    5. This Is Why I'm Hot (Rock Mix) - MIMS

This song should be played during the middle or end of practicing before a game. The rock version of this song featuring Purple Popcorn has an intense rock beat.

    6. Girlfriend (Dr. Luke Remix) - Avril Lavigne ft. Lil Mama

A lot of people seem to be sick of this song now, so I'm not going to require this on your playlist :) I really think this is a lot better than the original because Lil Mama certainly adds a twist to it. It makes me think of saying that they don't like the girls on the other team when Avril sings, "I don't like your girlfriend...".

    7. Bite The Dust - Pussycat Dolls

A song that should be played towards the end, it'll get the team pumped guaranteed. I always play this during practices before the games.

    8. Top Back (Remix) - T.I.

I find 60% of T.I.'s songs to be very empowering. I just love this one the most because of the great collaborations with other rappers.

    9. Flirt - Pussycat Dolls

It's a catchy girl pwer song with great rock background music. You should deffinitely play this in the beginning or middle of the practice. The team will love this.

    10. Rag & Bone - White Stripes

This song has them talking in about half of the song, so it should probably used during setting up or stretching.

    11. Free Your Mind - En Vogue

Play this when you do drills or passing/setting/spiking excersizes, it's empowering, but not too loud to go over the coach's voice.

    12. Monster - Meg & Dia

One of my favorite songs to play, they have great voices & music to play for practice.

    13. Bossy (Switch Remix)/(Victoria's Secret Mix)/(Circuis Mix) - Kelis

This song can only be found on downloaders such as Limewire and has various names. When searching, I suggest using one of the three remix titles it has above. Make sure it has the circuis music in the background when you preview it. This song is used when the team does their cheers because it goes great with clapping :D

    14. Misery Buissness - Paramore

This song has a fantasitc chorus & music. It would be better to play during drills or after stretching, to get them ready.

    15. Remember the Name - Fort Minor

This song is found in probably all of the sports playlists. I first heard it on the EPSN awards, and it's perfect for pre-game listening. A must for your playlist.

    BEFORE YOU PLAY...

*Make sure to get the coach's approval for these songs. If you're making a tape/cd, give her a copy IN ADVANCE, so she/he can apporve of them. Give them a copy to keep just incase they would like to play the music again for another game or keep it for future references if they would like to make their own playlist.

*Be sure to always get the CLEAN versions of the explicit/dirty songs, even if your coach is okay with cussing, ect. You need to remember that other adults (Opposing Coach, Refs., Scorekeepers, Fans, ect.) and younger fans will be there listening. So keep it sweet.

*If you still aren't satisfied with some of the songs on here, listen for songs with a heavy bass. The beat is what mainly matters for me when choosing songs.

*Some of these songs may sound a bit slow or boring in the beginning, so you might want to cut them if you know how to edit audio.

*If you can't find some of these songs on iTunes or another music download service, try limewire. It always has the song you're looking for. Although, all of the songs in this playlist are found in iTunes.

*On a scale from calm to moderate to intense, it should go like this: Setting Up - Moderate/Calm, Stetching - Intense, Passing/Serving - Moderate, Drills w/ the Coaches - Intense, Partner Drills - Moderate, ect. Judge how you want the feel of the music by thinking of how much the players need to concentrate during practice. Also think of some songs in the beginning that are calm/moderate for easing the nervous players.

*Finally, good luck to you and your team! Hopefully, this list will get you all pumped for the game, you'll do fantastic :)

  5. the time to kill is now by cannibal corpse.......its not volleyball oriented at the least but it will scare the **** out of the team your playin i gaurantee that

  6. eye of the tiger
