Hey 7. Why is there no on-screen info during an Olympic event??? We want to know whether we are watching a heat or a final, the distance of the event etc. If you miss the start, it's a frustrating wait until the end of each event to get this info. A clock and 7 logo aren't really enough.

  1. Oh I know, this has been driving me mad also.

I'm not sure why they have done this however a really shocking oversight if you ask me.  It's so frustrating.

  2. Is that NBC? They don't show it on channel 7 if you meant ABC 7.

  3. i agree!

they also should show better things sometimes

  4. That's not channel 7s doing what you see on screen and the pictures aren't provided by the 7 network (except the channel 7 watermark and graphics at the start that may show the event and the commentators) there provided either by the host broadcaster (CCTV china) or the what the Olympic committee decided that this will be the way the graphics show on the screen on the broadcast themselves that unlike the choice of sport they chose to show is not there fault.

  5. yes this is very frustrating.   just another example of channel 7's poor coverage... I would like them to show the flags over the lanes, perhaps as the athletes are getting on the starting blocks in the athletics, similar to how they have been showing the swimming...
