I want to know how you guys feel about the Cubs having their next 9 Games against the Reds, Nationals, and Pirates at home...Does it make you kinda annoyed that we get 9 fairly easy games

When you guys were playing teams like that it kinda made me a bit annoyed...luckily for us we were pretty hot.

I just want to know what you guys think about it

(Bonus: Predict the NL Central Standings at the end of the year...Try to not be too biased)

Heres mine:

1. Cubs

2. Brewers (Wild Card)

3. Cardinals

4. Astros

5. Pirates

6. Reds

  1. I will bet you that they lose the seires against the reds, last time the reds played them they hit 7 home runs and the reds have a winning record against teams over .500 so they will play them pretty good

and also I hate the brewers and cubs

    1 Cubs

    2  Brewers

    3 Cardinals

    4 Reds

    Pirates

    astros

  2. Brewers

    Cubs

    Cardinals

    Astros

    Pirates

    Reds

  3. Lets not forget who has gone a CENTURY without a world series.

    1. Brewers- Pitching will get it done

    2. Cubs- will cool off but still get wild card

    3. St. Louis- too many injuries

    4. The other teams are to far out of contention

  4. Im a Crew fan.  Im going to see the Cubs get beat by the Reds on Wednesday!First of all the Pirates are a good team.  They ca get the timely hitting.

    1.Cubs

    2.Brewers - 1/2

    3 Cards - 4

  5. LOL yeah. Before we embarrassed ourselves against the Dodgers we came off a Atlanta-Cincinnati-Washington-San Diego stretch, 1 series at home.

    1 Cubs 97-65

    2 Brewers 93-69

    3 Astros 86-76

    4 Cardinals 85-77

    5 Pirates 71-91

    6 Reds 69-93

That's right. I said it. The Cardinals will fall.

Oh yeah. Emphasize the team's no WS wins that's existed for only 38 years.

    haha.

Trust me. Brewer fans have heard it all before.

For Brewer fans, forgetting the past comes easy to us. Obvious reasons.

Notice I didn't say anything about 100 years.

EDIT: Amit's got my thumb down. Asker didn't say anything about the World Series until you mentioned it. Face it. We can't win that argument.

  6. I'm a Yankees fan. I know, different divisions, different leagues, even. I can't speak for Brewers fans, but I do know how awful the schedule can be. It's one of the things that was (and is) going to be a big struggle for the Yankees to overcome.

Going into the second half, the Yankees had the advantage of historically playing better in the second half. The disadvantage was a challenging schedule with a lot of road games.

I was really frustrated when I checked out the schedules. The Rays had a moderate schedule (but they've been dominating anyway) and the Red Sox had the easiest schedule of Rays/Yankes/Sox.

Scheduling problems this late in the season are always, on some level, a bit of a worry. It's those games where teams get leads that end up being insurmountable. The Cubs can and will take advantage of playing losing teams. It's got to be lurking in the back of the players' and fans' minds.

As far as the standings at the end of the year, I've got the Cubs winning the Central. I did predict Brewers before the season started, though.

  7. Ok here are my predictions

    1.Cubs

2.Brewers (winning the wild card with ease)

    3. Cardinals

    4. I really don't care

  8. the Cubs have an easy schedule this month, but it will be more difficult next month.  i saw their schedule while taking a tour at Wrigley Field.  oh, my....a Brewers fan touring Wrigley Field.  i'll be honest, the stadium was nice. i love historic stadiums, but i met a lunatic in the parking lot claiming to be psychic.  it freaked me out.  i know not all Cubs fans are like that, but dang!  Seriously, he said he was a 7th degree black belt and sent 15 guys to the hospital in his life, but got mugged the night before.  then he said me makes $160,000 a year being a bar tender there at the stadium.  then he said he was psychic and the Cubs were going to win the Series in the 7th Game, 7-4.  he said he didn't know who the opponent was, but it wasn't the Sox.  LMAO!  that was quite the experience.  now i dont know you, but i hope you aren't the same way.  anyhow, the Cubs should do well the rest of this month, very easy schedule.  if they go .500 this month, the Cubs are in trouble.

  9. I am looking forward to the next 9 games. And thanks for the heads up I never knew that the Brewers have NEVER won a World Series!
