Every MLB team attempts to field a winning team, which is what the Cubs have accomplished this year.  The only thing left for them to do is play the games and see how far they can go.

3 words - It's Gonna Happen. Brewers are gonna collapse again and the Cardinals will take the wild card, although I would hope you guys make it since Miller Park has become Wrigley Jr.

You don't really expect the super intellects who blamed one season's loss on Steve Bartman -- who was the wrong guy, too -- to be rational do you? Of course not. They will beat they liddle yippie tom toms and yell things like, "Hey, Derek, score a point, huh," and then whine when either the Brewers or the Cards -- or both -- go to the playoffs.

The other shoe will drop, whether it's in September or in the playoffs. I could remind Cub fans of bad times past and really want to, but I'll give them a break and let them remember those bad memories on their own.

It sounds to me like Brewers fans area little sketchy on whether or not they'll make the playoffs.  All they see is the Cubs gaining more ground on them and the Cardinals still breathing down their necks.  Are we STARTING to believe?  Cubs fans are always believers in their team, regardless of how bad that team may be, it's just part of being a Cubs fan.  Just keep a few things in mind here Brewers fans, the Cubs recently came up to Miller Park and beat you around like a rag doll (and that includes your top 2 starters) and also the Cubs have held first place in the NL Central ALL YEAR LONG so don't go looking for them to blow it now after holding on to the lead for 5 months already.  Get over it already Brewer fans, you're competing for the wild card so keep your fingers crossed that you don't go for 26 consecutive seasons without reaching the playoffs.

I hate the cubs more than the brewers.  And as much as I hate to say it they got the NL Central.  But if I was u as a brewers fan,  I would be getting nervous about the Cardinals.  They are gonna pass ur brewers here soon.  Then we can beat the cubs in the playoffs.
