Hey Fiddle Fiddle likely to stand first in Enjoy The Punters Package Group Offer Handicap at Wolverhampton
Nobody looks in good position to stop Hey Fiddle Fiddle’s way in the Enjoy The Punters Package Group Offer Handicap, being held at Wolverhampton on Friday, March 02.
With some powerful contenders in the line-up, the 5f216y Class 6 event is due to get underway at 18:40 (GMT). A cash prize worth £1,704 is waiting for the winner.
The line-up has 13 fast and furious participants including Hey Fiddle Fiddle, Russian Bullet, Prince Gabrial, Tiablo, Towbee, Pressure Drop, Vexillum, Ambitious Icarus, M J Woodward, Forever Janey and Maria Montez.
Hey Fiddle Fiddle is in good rhythm at the moment. The three-year-old filly recently showed a decent performance, securing second position in the Forest Row Handicap at Lingfield.
In her second last race at Wolverhampton, Charles Hills’ trainee displayed a magnificent show, sealing the top spot in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Median Auction Maiden Stakes on the Boxing Day.
The novice has earned great reputation at the start of her career and the punters have pinned up a lot of hopes on her for today’s meeting.
Without a shadow of doubt, Russian Bullet will be a huge threat to the filly. The newly turned three-year-old gelding did well in his previous two races. On both occasions, he narrowly missed first position and ended up second on the table.
The Jamie Osborne-trained made his last trip at Southwell, where he was outplayed by Drinmoy Lad. His failure to grab the top place in two consecutive races takes nothing away from him, as the gelding needs only a bit of luck.
Prince Gabrial and Tiablo will aim for an upset. Both contestants are stepping in after an unimpressive show and it might be difficult for them to challenge Hey Fiddle Fiddle.
Prediction
If someone is interested in taking a calculated risk, Hey Fiddle Fiddle is the best option to put your money on. The filly will make the best use of her sky high confidence to attain a decent lead first up.
And if she manages to take an early advantage, it will become very difficult for the rest of the pack to knock her down.
Russian Bullet might be able to show some fight, but our vote goes to Hey Fiddle Fiddle.
