  1. Dude, just wait a few weeks for the PGA Equipment conference to wrap up and all the new stuff comes into the market -- then all stuff from last year will go on fire sale.

If you're looking to pick up a pre-owned club, then eBay is the way to go. And since the 983e is your friend, you may want to consider the Cleveland HiBore XL, the Taylor Made R7, the Ping G2 or G5, or the Mizuno MX-500.

So much good stuff out there, and a lot can be found for a good price if you're willing to dig a little.

  2. I love my TaylorMade Burner!!!

  3. I can´t, sorry......

  4. ping g10  i got about 3 months ago and i hit it better than anything ive ever had but if you dont want to spend alot you could buy a g2 which is also a great driver

  5. I am out of work and have a full license

    I'LL DO IT1

  6. thanks for the driving power tips :)...anyway, i do prefer classics. ever want to try one of those old timer? i just absolutely love my biggest big bertha, and its very light.

  7. King Cobra all the way! I have a 400cc and its the best thing i've ever bought!

  8. callaway big bertha 454 titanium

i hit that 20 - 30 yards further than any other club its cheap 2

  9. I just got a Cleveland Hi-Bore XL 9.5*, and love it.  This club swings smooth and light.  When I was demo-ing clubs I hit dead-center of the clubface everyhit.  This is also the straightest driver I've ever hit.  The price has already dropped to make way for the 2008 models.

The 2008 model is the Hi-Bore XLS.  It looks to have slightly longer body.  The body on the new model is composite instead of titanium.

  10. Try the Nickent line of drivers. I have a 3DX draw and a 4DX tour.

  11. The 08 equipment will be out early next month and then you will have demo days at your local pro shop.  Just wait until then.  I know it's hard.  I live in the midwest and was fortunate to play on Saturday.  I'm going through withdrawal.

  12. My boyfriend has just bought a Taylor Made Burner. I tried it out on the range the other day and I think its awesome. Cost about £179 so if you're just looking for a back up then its probably a bit costly. Good though!

  13. If you hit the 983 well and just want a back-up club why not get another 983?  That way if the first is not available, you won't have to make any adjustment.  You should be able to find a used one for much less than a brand new club.  But if you must have my recommendation I love the Titleist 907 D2.

  14. Try the titleist 905. You can get it for under 80 bucks and its a good club. You might like it. If you want to spend some money though Try the FTi from callaway. Ive never hit em straighter. and with a loud boom too. It's like hitting a ball with a softball bat. I love it

  15. Ping G3 is what I currently play.  Never seen anything longer and straighter.  When I am playing more than 1/month, I was hitting it 285+ and straight as a string.

  16. The new Nicklaus, Adams Insight, or Taylor Made Burner

  17. right now i have two drivers on sale on ebay, they are a ping g2 and a titleist 975j.  the ping is a 10* and the titleist is a 9.5*.  anyway, i have the cleveland hibore 16* (i dont swing fast) and hit it about 200-230.  i would recommend the hibore but with a lower loft, say, 10*.  contact me if you want to see the drivers.

  18. the best thing to do is go to your local golfsmith or golf galaxy and try them out you will know if after just a few balls what feels right to you if you are a titliest player try the 905 t 905 s and the 905 r or the new d2 you can get all of these used and for an excellent price i paid $60 dollars for my 905 t and it wasnt about hte money i tried all of them from $60 to $400 and i was more than willing to spend the money but i loved the 905t
