Sorry, there are no really low prices on the iPod Touch.  Apple knows it can get full price, and so they do.  :-(

The only discount I know about is one for government employees and retirees.  It's not a huge savings (30 bucks), but it is better than nothing.  It's good for anyone who works for the federal, state, or local government, the military, or who is retired from the government.  And eligible people are allowed to "sponsor" up to 5 other people a year.  

So if anyone among your family or friends works for the government, go to the Apple Web site (http://store.apple.com), and look for a pull-down box on the lower right corner of the page.  Pull down to the US Government choice, and go from there.
