Hey I was in a car accident last night and I need your help!?

I am not at fault in the accident, but i am wondering where i can obtain insurance information about the other drivers involved in the crash. I asked the police after they had collected this information at the seen and they told me to wait for the police report in a week. So does anyone know if insurance information as well as phone numbers will be available in this crash report?

it should be....however, if you provide the report to your insurance company they can obtain what is needed from the dmv records
