Hey I went to the DENTIST!!

I feels so proud of myself. I'm deathly afraid of the dentist, haven't gone since I was 9 and I'm 16 now. I got 2 or 3 cavities filled, on ONLY THE LEFT SIDE OF MY MOUTH.

My left side is numb still.

I'm going next week to get the right side done.

When will this numb feeling go away? It feels horrible!!

Other than that I feel pretty proud of myself :D

  1. You Go!  I went forever without seeing a dentist & ended up in the chair for over 4 hours for maintenance.  Dentist even wore out two drill bits for my fillings.  I still break a cold sweat during cleanings, but I take it like a big girl.

The numbness will turn into tinglies after a couple of hours.  You might feel a little soreness from the procedure after the tinglies wear off, but by tomorrow, there shouldn't be any pain.  If there is, call the dentist to make sure everything's ok.

Stay proud of yourself and keep up the good work (and work it is, my dear).  Maybe you won't end up with fake teeth (I have some - they suck, but better than the holes in my smile, ya know?)

  2. Tomorrow morning when you wake up the numb feeling will be completely gone.
