  1. Okay.. since you didn't specify which page of the Yahoo 360 you are talking about.. I will give you instructions for all of the places they can be added, with the exception of photo albums.. that option was discontinued back in Sept. of 2007.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Personal photos for your image Id..
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Go to top of any of your 360 pages and you see the tool bar there..  choose your MY PAGE..

    Look  above your id picture  there is  the option Edit Personal Photos.. click it

    On the page that comes up click the browse option in any of the bottom three slots.. do not try to use the first one.. it does not work.

    It will open a popup to your MY PICTURES file and choose a photo that is the jpg file format and not over 5 MB in size.

    Go to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.

    It will take you back to your MY PAGE where you click the Edit Personal Photos option once more and beside your uploaded picture or under it will be an option that says Primary ... click it and once again go to the bottom of the page and save it..

    Blog Photos

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    You can use the Yahoo uploader and put one picture at the top of your blog by clicking onto that option on your blog composer page or you can use the html source option  .. it is a bit more complicated but well worth the effort. ..
    It looks confusing but just follow the steps I give you and you will be able to do it!
    1. You need to find a graphics site or a photo hosting site that will give you the html code you need to put them into your blog. I use photo bucket com for my photos. It is a free account and very easy to understand and use. They usually are found underneath the photos or graphics you choose.. or to the side.. just look for the HTML Code as the item name and you will not be wrong.
    2. Copy the code from there and go back and open a compose blog page.
    3. On top of the composer is a check box and the words HTML Source..
    4. Put some text into the composer( this is important to put the text in first .. it will not make your image for you if you don't)
    5. Put a check into the box of the HTML Source.
    6. Paste the code into the composer.
    7. Uncheck the box.
    Your graphic should appear in the composer.
    8. Finish your blog and post it.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...

    You can put as many graphics or photos into your blog that you want with this option. Just follow the same steps as above and with practice you will learn how to make them go where you wish them to on the page and make it really special.

  2. There are several ways to add images to your 360, so check out the methods below to find a few that work for you.

    On your TOP PAGE/MY PAGE:

    1) Personal Profile Pics module:

    Make sure a JPEG formatted photo (with .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe extension) under 5MB is saved to your hard drive.

    - Click your "My Page" link at the top

    - Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

    - Click "Browse" and upload photo into an empty field. Then click one "use as primary" radio button on the right before saving.

    You can't upload more than 4 profile pictures (this includes an avatar). Make sure that you are following the 360 Personal Photo guidelines here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui...

    2) Customized Background (which is seen in the blog area too): See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/pro... for basic instruction. Make sure the image used is under 250KB and in JPEG format.

    You can do it at least four ways in the BLOG:

    1) Above your entry space, click the "Browse" button for the photo upload tool. Search for the image that's saved to your hard drive. It must be a JPEG formatted image (extension ending with .jpg, .jpeg, and .jpe) and under 5 MB in file size.

    * The picture will appear above your entry and doing it this way, you can only use one picture.

    NOTE: The following methods require that your image is hosted via an online hosting service like Flickr (http://flickr.com ) and Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/ ):

    2) Check out the 360 team post on dragging & dropping photos into blogs: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Eha...

    * This method allows many photos to be used in an entry, with your choice in placement. Make sure that you are using an image that's on it's own page (not on a page that is shared with others). So click on the image and get to that image's full detail page (likely the largest view of the picture, not the thumbnail).

    3) Copy and paste an absolute URL for the image (which looks http://www.domainname.com/nameoffile.gif or .jpg....something similar to that) into a blog entry.

    - Check the box next "View HTML source" box (on the upper right of your entry's space).

    - Type in the HTML code:

    <img src="URL of image" height="# of pixels" width="# of pixels">

    NOTE: With Flickr, just use the block of code above the pic's URL that they tell you to use...wouldn't want to violate their guidelines.

    - Uncheck the "View HTML source" box to get back to the regular blog screen.

    WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text.

    - Click "Save"

    * This method allows you to use any formatted image as long as it's hosted on an online server and not only your hard drive. Check each service for their list of accepted file types before choosing one.

    4) Slideshows:

    Create slideshows to embed in a blog entry and then choose to highlight the entry to make it appear on the top right side of your blog (if you like). Slideshow services: slide.com, rockyou.com, photobucket.com (although photobucket limits the number of pictures in one slideshow album), picasa.google.com:

    - Find the embed code for the album that you want to add.

    - Click on "My Blog" and create a new entry.

    - Type some text in the actual entry space as well, as it might not save.

    - Click the box next to "View HTML source" in the upper right of the entry space before adding code.

    - Copy the embed code and paste it into the space.

    - Click "Show Options" link at the bottom of the entry and click the highlight option.

    - Click the box next to "View HTML source" to get back to regular view if necessary. It may not show up until the entry is Previewed or Saved.

    - Click "Save" button and see if it appears.
