Hey Im redoing my room and i need decorating ideas?

Question

okay. lemme describe my room-

- fire engine red walls/black trim top and bottom

-rectangular shaped

-dresser on the short side

-computer desk on other short side

-bed taking up one long side

-closet/nothing else on the other side.

my problem=what should i put on the side that has nothing??

my room is punk themed-i have andy warhol artwork/some band posters a huge flag that says "punk aint dead" wit a british flag. any other cool/fun ideas i can throw in?

i would put a HUGEE poster there that takes up liekk a big part of the wall

or a mirror if u dont have  afull length mirror....

idk what ur closet door is now, but something that always makes closets look a little cooler in my opinon and also easier to use is drapes instead of doors.

u could get a beanbag

or if thers enoguh room, u mite have somr radnom old couch that u could put there, it woudl be an amazing ang out place

or if u have any old tvs

or u can make acollage of u and ur friends and stuff

just hav fun with it1

i'd turn the other side that has nothing into a lounge-type area. i'd frame fun cd covers in black frames, and hang them on the wall. i'd put a chair, or perhaps a futon/daybed if you have enough room. a futon/daybed would be ideal. it can be a couch by day, and a bed when you have friends sleep over. a fun shag rug under the chair/futon, a lamp, and maybe a small table - and wala!

I second the bean bag idea in black (maybe even a faux leather) Love Sacs are amazing, but quite expensive.

or if you don't like bean bags, you can do a butterfly chair or a pappasan (spelling?) chair. it's that huge half circle chair...

or you can do shelves and have some black and white and red frames with photos all over.. in different sizes.

I agree with the curtain idea instead of doors, it's a little less concealing, but I always feel like it opens up my room.
