Hey Lifeguards!!!!!?

Question

I need to know what the going rate an hour is for lifeguards.

Holy cow!!! that other guy makes $16-25/hr !!! i am going on my 3rd year and make anywhere from minimum wage-$8.50.  Apparently it is all where you work.

It depends based on your experience and qualifications,but 15-25 is ridiculous.  I work at the beach as a guard, and I made $9/hr to start.  Each year we come back, we get a $.25 raise.  A few of my friends guard at the YMCA, where the starting wage is $7.  I also know a guy who works at a country club, and makes $9.  Head lifeguards and supervisors who have been around for a while might make something in the 15-25 range, but if you're just starting out, don't expect more than 8-10.
