It's funny how the people who are singing the praises of peckerhead, are the same ones who cried about Johnson and Gordon last year. Ooops almost forgot, funny how Shrub's 4 year win total is now equal to what Jr did in 3, and less than what Carl Edwards has done in 3 years and Carl didn't win a race in 2006.

no doubt, kyle's the (young) man of nascar right now.  no one can touch his record so far this year across the three main series.  not only in wins, but in top-fives, top-tens, laps led, power rankings, etc.  and even though he had only one win last year, he did have 11 top-fives (to junior's 7), 20 top-tens (to junior's 12), and finished fifth in points overall (to junior's, ummm, 16th) - that's where his talent was, Texas.

and, oh yeah, Wedge_Antilles, "oops, almost forgot, funny how..." kyle (and carl) have each won more races this year alone than junior has in three and a half years (he's only won twice since november, 2004).  and i don't say that as a "junior-basher" as i actually like and root for the guy.  i love that they both have 7 top-tens this year and are almost always contending for the win - should make for a great comparison overall, now that they're both in "optimal equipment."

and finally, i've been singing the praises of "peckerhead" (loosely translated, i believe, as "king kyle") since before he first hit the cup circuit, and you never heard me cry about johnson and gordon last year.  exactly to whom you are referring i'm not sure...
