I married a western New Yorker, and I know he really longs for some of the food back home. He introduced me to Beef on Wecks when we visited his hometown of Allegany, NY, (We went to the Beef and Barrel, which is SO GOOD) and I thought they were delicious! I would really like to surprise him by making Beef on Wecks for dinner one night, but I'd like a recipe from an authentic New Yorker who knows what they are doing. Can anyone help me out?
