Did you like the song that represented you in Eurovision 2008? I loved it! I didn't like ours (the Greek one)!

Lol! Also, what do you think of going to Eurovision only having a Turkish song and not an English one? What are your thoughts? Please answer both questions... THAAAANK YOUUUUU!!! ♥♥♥

  1. Yes I loved the song, Deli. I liked the performance too, the frontman Harun Tekin made me laugh with all the weird 'deli' gestures. As Terry Wogan said, "a sinister James Bond" he was haha :) The only Greek entry I liked was the one Xatzigiannis was singing.

I don't really mind the language of the songs actually, as long as it's got a nice beat, it'll come through in the contest. (I heard we're sending a girlband, Hepsi next year)

  2. i only watch eurovision for the comedy value and cannot take any acts seriosuly.turkeys entry is always usually safe and nothing THAT bad,but i didnt really like the last song turkey did.

in terms on language,i think the whole point of those competitions is to see and hear other nationalities ect, would be dumb to have them all singing in english.

  3. you are cute... but i didnt like very much, when Eurovision is mentioned, only one word comes to my mind: Entertainment... So, i want extra funny, enjoyable something.

    Like the spanish entry...

Though, Deli's message and how they got it accross was perfect.

  4. yes next time we are joining with our best

    pentagram Secret missile

  5. Didnt ottoman has trained grandaddies?, how rude is

    yelling ~hey~.

  6. I liked the Turkish song, Deli but I also liked Everyway That I Can so I do not think the language contesters sing their songs in matters.

If I am not wrong, Greece send Sakis Rouvas to Moscow, good luck for Eurovision Song Contest with Sakis, even though it is now a political contest.

A writer once said: "the need to assert superiority is the surest symptom of inferiority."

  7. I think Deli was the best song there!

Shame that we couldnt win !

  8. No, unknown better songs here so i would not need them but some international fun is freshen life.

  9. Yes the Turkish song was good , actually better than Russias.

but I think this years winner had to be the Ukranian lady , good song, lovely show.

I think the language of the song does matter. Since this is an Ä°nternational Contest , the language used should also be international for the people to remember and vote for the song.Maybe the songs can be sung as the A part of the song in the participant countrys language and the B part in English.

Well its just a suggestion :)))

  10. I am thinking opposite...

Greek one was much more better than our one....

We couldn't get the success after Sertab Erener in Eurovision :(

But Thank you very much for your positive comment about our song my Lovely Greek friend :)))

  11. Tbh i didnt like any of the songs LOL And im turkish and im not arragont..

  12. Hey Greek person :)

I think Turkish song was not great but not bad either so i believe it deserved the rank it got. It was a middle class song for Mor ve Otesi too. They have far more better songs.

Greek song OK, but it was a very classic Eurovision song.

As for the second question, i don't think the language is important. It's the feeling it gives you.

  13. Turkey's song, Deli, was swell. I didn't listen to Mor ve Ötesi before, but I do now.

Greece's song was safe, but not so special. I believe showing off pretty girls with a bland pop song is over in Eurovision. It seems showing off pretty boys with a bland pop song is in. ;)
