Hey all I misplaced my refference no/file no of my Passport , is there any other process to get the status?

Wait for the police verification,there the police man should have the xerox of the complete form filled up by u.



u can get the ref no. or file no. from there.

There is no other way,

let us wait cid and police varification will comefrom them you have to take file no. after varification passport will come to you by registerd post. all process will go upto 6 month. after that you can enquiry by file no.

Plz check your passport's last cover page where your computer file No is quoted.No need to fuss over it.

u have a bigger problem as when u need to collect ur passport, you need the reference number as well.  u can go to the pprt office and ask for a duplicate issued to you so that you have the refrrnce number
