Yeh, I cant forget those days, when I joined engg college. Most of the ragging is about giving your introductions and seniors make you do funny stuff like dance or sing.

I was kinda freaked out, but it is advised to enjoy the fun, as long as no one hurts or harass you. In that case, go and report authorities in college. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Though, I never experience any kind of 'ragging' in any US school/college. I guess you wanted to ask this question at Indian edition on yahoo answers.

Ragged?  I don't recall getting ragged any day of college.  What kind of college is this?

yep i was..;)..

well 2 be frank its a necessity...ragging only encourages junior-senior bonding...its sad that measures so strict r being encouraged these days that seniors find it hard just to talk with their juniors...

Mine ws a great experience slightly embarassing..:D..I had to mimick himesh reshammiya nd sing a song...secondly..i ws jokingly asked to ask out a girl for a date..mind u both the experiences were heartening...also I hv made some gr8 frnds who r seniors..

Be okay to ragging..extremes r always harmful..bt raggin within limits is fun..
