there is a differece betweeen hard and stressful work.

hard is something not everyone can do that is complicated.

ie scientist, senator, doctor.

stressful, something that puts physical strain on the body but that takes no experience whatsoever to do.

ie landscaper, factory worker, lumber jack.

it is not hard, just stressful. if it was hard than less p eople would be able to do it than are doing it.

and if you would have read what i said than you would know that i have experience in this field.

yes, the job sucks. but it is not hard to do.

  1. i pay 75 $ for the same thing, u are in the ball park. so cool off

  2. nope :)

  3. That a fair prices ?   I only make 80 dollars in 8 hours a day working in a factory !  you said 3 hours and making 67 dollars ?  you should mow at lease 4 places a day ,  you,re richer than me !  so , hush up ?

  4. Not only would I tell you no to a raise, I'd fire you for asking for that much. You are not a pro you're just a d**n kid workin out of your dad's truck. How dare you assume that factory work is not hard? WTF is wrong with you? You just insulted a lot of people with that remark.

Yeah genius I work in a wholesale nursery.. Who do you think our customers are? LANDSCAPERS duhhhhh. I know exactly what I'm talking about. If I didn't I wouldn't be putting my foot in my mouth like you are. I'm just gonna say it like this. I deal with all sides of the business. Yes I have and do still work on your end of the "industry" lol.. Today I installed 9 Texas Sabal palms at a new hospital clinic, you think they'd hire some kid like you to do that? NOPE. I charge $300 just to put the front-end loader on a trailer then $65 an hour after that, that's not even counting my 125% markup on the trees themselves. But that's what a pro makes bud. And just because it isn't complicated doesn't mean it isn't physical thats what most would consider hard work..

  5. i don't know for sure but it sure sounds like your getting ripped off. You should raise your prices!

  6. I'm not sure...but I know I WOULDN'T do that for $67 dollars!!

  7. Gosh, that's $22.33 an hour wage.  Sounds great to me.

  8. it really doesn't sound like you are getting ripped off, it sounds like about $20/hour so subtract gas cost and you will have how much your making. I would say that if your still making $15/hour then it's probably worth your time.

  9. idk :D

  10. 67 Dollars for 2-3 hours? Well, ill round.

70$ for 3 hours, so your getting about 22 dollars and 50 cents a hour.

    Thats d**n good.

  11. I am in the tree business, a certified arborist who has a small company with 3 other climbers and assorted ground guys. i have a bit of experience with bidding jobs.

When I first got my start I lost on more than one job. Its called learning. Sounds like you have ALOT of that to do.

Occasionally I've gone back and asked to adjust the ESTIMATE. Some people understand and some don't. You have to know who you're talking to and how to handle the situation.

From you rantings, you sound as though you are as articulate as a drunken grizzly bear and I think I would tell you to go scratch.

Try to learn from this and maybe grow up a bit in the process.
