I heard about this thing at work today an its with yahoo an its were people are giving away free stuff that they just dont want any more . an i have a few things i would like to put on there and one thing im looking for,. so does any one know what im talking about an were to go ? thanks !

That's freecycle.org, it's a network of worldwide yahoo groups. There's even one in my hometown in Germany: http://www.freecycle.org/

I don't know, but you can do that on craig's list.

Are you sure it wasn't Craig's List? That's not on Yahoo, but it sounds like what you're talking about.
