in return for getting rid of the best power hitter in boston history? does this spell doom for red sox playoff chances? will rays win east now? or yankees? are red sox fans angry for not getting anything in return?

First of all, he's not the best power hitter in boston history. Second look at Jason Bay's numbers compared to manny, can you tell the difference? NO you can't. Shows what kind of jackass you are. Yeah haha the Red Sox are pretty much screwed now. why give up Manny and 2 possible future stars for a player thats not even as good as Manny alone? they will finish 3rd in the division. heck maybe 4th if the Jays get hot. i think the rays should have even more room to breathe now.

Not a fan of Boston or Manny.  But as an Indians fan I can tell you Manny is nothing but an arrogant ***.  He's harder to deal with then the politicians.  Best power hitter with the worst personality.  I imagine his crappy attitude really affected the staff and players.  Good or not, I wouldn't want a person contaminating my team like Manny does.  If I were a Boston fan, I'd say good riddance.
