I'm on Clomid 50mg cd3-7 I made it to CD 29, I started spotting brown. What is going on?

I was cramping last night like I was going to get my period.

I called my DR Friday, he said "it's not really normal, but I'm not to worried about." I'm starting not to like him .

I've never had spotting before during my cycle and my cycles have always been normal 28-30 days long.

Thank you ladies for reading I hope it makes sense any advice would be great:)

  1. Hello, I was just wondering why you are taking clomid if your cycles are regular 28-30 days long. It sounds like you're ovulating on your own.  Anyhoo, just wondering..

  2. It could be implantation bleeding.Sometimes implantation bleeding can mimic a period( heavy flow) but usually is just spotting or a brownish discharge. Its common to have when the fertilized egg implants into the uterus and begin to grow a baby.

If you don't like your doctor get a new one, Your comfort is whats most important!

  3. Clomid tends to lengthen cycles but this could be an exception and your period is starting but usually it's red spotting useless the spotting was very mild.

If the cramps where mild plus the brown spotting--it could be implantation.  It all depends on when you ovulated.

  4. spotting brown could be a good sign especially  before you expect af. You might be one of the few  to get implantation bleeding, which i've heard can last a week but usually one day spotting. I hope u get ur bfp

  5. Did they confirm that you ovulated this cycle?

In any case, if your cycle is usually 28-30 days long and you're on CD29 and spotting, I would say your period is on the way.
