  1. It depends on the place you are.

For fresh vegetables, "mercato", weekly market out in the street is less expensive than supermarket.

You can visit www.esselunga.it for an idea of prices: this is a website of a supermarket working in the north mostly.

Prices are more or less the same you can find at their market

    Diesel cost: 1.47 € /l approximately

    Other:

    eggs: 0.13-0.20 per unit

    fruit juice: 0.8 - 1.2 € /l

    honey: 4 - 6 €/kg

  2. I live in milan, milan is quite expensive, like all the north, In high season, like summer, in Sardiny you can also pay 25 dollars for a cocktail, in Milan you pay always 8 euro for a cocktail.

the south is usually cheaper, exept of course the big hotels for tourists. if you go to small restarants and supermarket you can arrive to pay few money for everything.

    here some prices

    1 coffe 0.8e

    1 medium beer 4e

    1 coke 1,8 e  (in the bar)

1 litre of milk 1e (in the supermarket)

1 kilo of vegetables 7e (if of season)

1 ticket of train from milan to rome 50e

1 tocket of airplain from milan to rome 70e

    1 night for 1 person in a 2 stars hotel 70euro

well I hope you have an idea.... welcome in Italy

if u want to know about italian politics, do not read newspapers, the are all corrupted, read this:
