Hey couldn't Jhonen make Invader Zim into a comic book? ?

So he could continue where the show where it got canceled so people could see more of Zim. I don't know that was a thought...

He walked away from ZIM because the Nickelodeon execs kept on changing the series and overriding his ideas.  In the end it wasn't his show anymore, which is a shame, because ZIM rocked!

You can find out more about Jhonen's thoughts on ZIM by reading "I feel sick" which although the main character is female, she is roughly based on Jhonen at the time when he was on the team of ZIM (especially the scene where Devi's boss keeps trying to make her add monkey's to her drawings).

You can also see primitive versions of the Irkens in SQUEE!, as they terrorize him from time to time in the series :)
