Hey do you think the Red Sox are going back to their old Ways?

The Red Sox lost MANNY and I think that their on the decline and now the Yankees look to take 2nd and maybe if the twins slow the wild card and now the Rays might slump and the NYY might take the division and restore the universe.

Manny was a pain in the a$$, as good as he was when he felt like it, he could throw a game just as quickly, which is what he did the other night. Face it, 4 errors in one inning is not something the Bosox do all the time. His attitude was detroying the team. Good ridance to bad trash.

Bay may not put up Manny-like numbers but I honestly think the Sox will be better without Manny...they just got rid of a huge clubhouse distraction...and even without Manny the Sox still have one of the best lineups in the league...I love Manny and I know he helped win two World Series but it used to be his production outweighed the headache he caused in the clubhouse...this year the headache he caused way outweighed his production...I think the Sox will go on a run pretty soon because a weight has been lifted...I still think the Sox could win the division and I don't think they are headed in a decline...they have an amazing farm system overflowing with talent...the Sox will be a force for a long time.

no. Manny needed to be traded a long time ago. He may have been great, but his attitude sucked. He will be still be Manny with any team he plays with, Manny being Manny! Seriously, we have a great replacement for him. and he has a much better attitude!

Yes,  they arent gonna have a championship for a long while now. He brought so much to that team. I know he was a pain but productive and was a heII of a threat at the plate. It made them have to pitch to Papi. It's all gonna change

i totally agree with you!! i think the rays will slump eventually. ortiz has no protection now! i mean seriously, theyre going to leave it up to JD Drew? dont get me wrong, hes a great player, all star mvp, but he cant handle the whole task of protecting ortiz. watch here come the yanks!!!

Manny had to go and Bay is a solid replacement.  I don't expect that these changes indicate a down slide for the Red Sox and I give them just as good a chance to go to the playoffs as they had with Manny on the team.

All I know is the second place team in the AL Central has a better chance at winning the Wild Card than the Declining Red Sox and Yankees
