Hey does anyone know about movie theaters..?

i was wondering if anyone knew the average cost it was to rent a theater to play a movie. you know private showing.?

I asked about that for my birthday this year. At my local theater, it was $300 an hour. (Way too expensive.)

Some theaters may be more, some less. But that's at least a ballpark estimate.

I only have a vague idea in the UK - it depends on how many seats the cinema is. There are loads of 'screening rooms' where critics watch previews which are hired by the hour mainly in Soho.

It depends if you have your own projectionist and the actual film. It does take time and equipment to make up and break down a film that arrives on several reels.

If you want a 200 seat venue in central London I've been invited to the Mayfair once, and it was very pleasant.
