  1. As above. Let's not get Hockey looking like Football w/ all those silly dances and self stroking. I watch clips of old Football games where they score a TD and walk away. So much more classy that all this "look at what I did" c**p. It's one of the reasons I don't watch Football much anymore.

Maybe celebrate w/ your teammates, because it is a TEAM sport after all.

  2. Habs fan's right- Selanne throwing up his glove and "duck hunting" it!

Also, I agree- skating away like you do it all the time is pretty classy

  3. Skate back to centre Ice and wait for the next face off.

  4. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XcnY5hpgzMc

  5. Skate away and act like it's not the first time you've done it.

  6. Act like you done it before and graciously accept the congratulations of your team mates.

Why would you want to showboat?  You aren't a receiver in the NFL.

  7. im a hockey player my team always gathered and gave each other knuckles and pats on the back and sort of hold our sticks in the air.

  8. Bobby Orr often had his head down feeling as if he'd embarassed an opponent.

Then again, in his day, few if any were close to matching his talent.

Something amusing? If you can master it .. Tiger Williams with the stick between his legs was classic. Not an easy one to emulate it's the last one here (hope this works) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fELGRAPGk... if it doesn't work put Tiger Williams Goal Celebration in your web browser

Personally among those in the video though I liked the old one of Selanne better.
