Allium. They are in the onion family.

It is called 'Tiny purple' flower. They are really wonderful.

PS: These flowers have all gone by now, but they sure were delightful back in June.

Yep, they're Allium.  They're a bulb. They bloom late spring/ early summer.  Many different varieties.  Most are real tall.  The one's in your pic are a shorter type.
