  1. Sequential Spelling is a great program for dyslexic students and other students too.

    Best of Luck!

  2. What do you want those books to be able to do for you?  I'm not really sure about what you'd like to know.

  3. There really are no "dyslexic" school books, as there are nearly as many forms of dyslexia as there are dyslexics.  I would suggest going with something that allows you to learn in whichever way you learn best.  I can tell you what my dyslexic son uses:

http://trisms.com/ - history, lit, writing, geography, and much more.

http://videotext.com/homeschool.htm - math, covers from Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calc.  DVD-based, short daily lessons, very concept-based, clear, easy to use.

http://apologia.com/store/?PHPSESSID=a83... - science, elementary through Advanced Physics.  The book is extremely reader-friendly and comes with a CDRom (either the complete book plus all extras or only extras) and an MP3 (the complete book read to you).

http://www.tellmemore.com/content/view/f... - every language you can think of, the best program I've seen yet.

http://www.excellenceinwriting.com/index... - the best writing program out there, IMO.  My son loves this program, and he normally hates to write.

    Hope that helps!

  4. Dr. Ruth Beechick has a book with some answers in it for you.  The homeschool answer book.   You may ask your libraian to help you find it and other books that may give you exercises that can help train you so that you can overcome the frustrations that come with being dyslexic.  It is not an excuse for not learning, only a challenge to concentrate on skills that you can learn so that, you can succeed in life...it is possible!  Just like someone who may have lost an arm or leg learns to function without that limb, you too can work beyond your handicap...Most dyslexics are incredibly talented people...so get busy!
