  1. Well, according to the television show, they live in LA.

  2. Evolutionist indoctrination has led many to link the idea of 'cave dwelling' with the notion of 'primitive subhumans'. But this does not logically follow, as recent evidence confirms.

People have lived in caves in the past, and they clntinue to do so in some places.

  3. In prehistoric times, caves have been used as places of special importance (i.e. for burials etc) and sometimes for shelter.  Many cultures have creation myths which involve creatures (including humans) emerging from caves, etc.  Whether any culture ever exclusively dwelt in caves is anybody's guess.  Given the geologic facts (habitable caves are relatively rare, especially in flat ground), I tend to doubt this.

If you are referring to early hominids, there is considerable debate in the paleoanthropological literature regarding habitat.  Most seem to think that our early ancestors were well adapted to living near both savannahs (open grasslands) and forests, and probably chose to live near both, migrating seasonally to seek food sources.  The distribution of fresh water is a very big factor in where people may live also.  So, our best guess is probably 'a diverse environment which would allow access to both forest and open fields somewhere near a river or perennial stream.

In this scheme, a cave would be an added bonus, but is not really necessary.

  4. In caves,,and there habitat is pretty much any place humans live now, except Antarctica

  5. Well, I'm not an anthropologist (expert on human societies) or an archaeologist (expert on ancient civilisations), but the first humans lived in East Africa, in what is now Kenya and Tanzania.  Some time in the last 200 000 years they started to spread around the world.  You don't need to travel very fast to cross the world in about 2 000 years.  Before farming was invented, people didn't live in a fixed place; they just moved around, hunting animals and picking wild fruit.  The first houses were probably built about 12 000 years ago.  Before that, people lived in caves.  Remember, the first people lived in hot places like Kenya.  Living in a cave in a hot country isn't as unpleasant as in a place like America, Europe or NZ.  Your question is interesting, because people who didn't know each other, like in the Middle East, China, America and Africa all stopped living in caves at about the same time in history.   Why?
