Hey experienced inventors and mechanical engineers help me?

i have these awsome war machine ideas but im stuck at the designing phase i dont have the money or materieal to create prototypes and ive been working on these designs since i was 11 now im 16 and soon ill get them pattoned help what do i do

Are these workable designs or just flights of your fancy?

Do you know that they could be actually constructed? With existing real power plants and weapons?

If not, forget it.

ClickaNerd.com - The answer man.  The first thing you need to do is protect yourself.  Take your drawings and schematics etc and seal them in an envelope and have them sent to yourself through the US post office to establish the date and time of your invention.  After that - see a patent attorney and begin the protection of your design and idea.  If you have a good idea, everyone will try and rip you off in industry so be careful.

Be sure to review the fee structures, a lot of people run out of money before they start making any and can't afford the maintenance fees on their patent.

It is not an easy process even for a kitchen gadget.

you may want to take the following steps

1.get your ideas on paper or a computer modeling program (such as auto desk or solidworks)

2.get a patent and be sure you have an explanation for every last detail and how it works

3.make sure you have enough money to keep the patent until you can afford (and get certified to do anything that might be considered illegal) to build a working model
