1. Avoid to eat in places meant for tourist, the food suck and they're expensive. Go where locals go.

  2. It depends from what: in my town ( Verona (that you should visit!!) ) bus tickets: 1 €, museums , it depends obviously, but it could be like 7-15 €, clothings in downtown 70-500.....000 €, food could be like 10-12 € if you on a pizzeria. i don't know what else to say, but don't think italy is very cheap..

  3. You really don't have to spend a lot of money if you avoid the shops. Shopping in the big name shops will get you broke quick..trust me! Seeing the sights will take up a lot of your day and most cost most to nothing to see. Florence and Roma both offer the hop on hop off bus service. If you get a three day pass for the bus you can use it for all your city travels. When you eat avoid the tourist spots and get a good fresh cooked meal in the local trattoria you will spend half the money and the pizza or pasta dished are well above the quality of "fast food" here

  4. Pizza and Wine are cheap, and they are stunning cities so no need to spend money on attractions as almost everythign is free entry. Don't waste your money on a Gondola in Venice but a mask and some Glass is very cheap something you can keep.

And as for the best memory snog an Italian :-)
