Hey guys, I start football soon...?

Im a freshman and I start joining in on the practices Monday. Ive never played before.(besides throwing the ball around and tackles my friends not a real game :p)

What kind of training should I expect?

How much is it gonna take out of me? everything? haha

Any advice? Tips?

  1. You can expect to work very hard and sweat more than you ever imagined. It is exhausting, but you can do it.

    You will be sore - ICE is the best thing for muscle soreness followed by a doctors check up.

    You can expect to have a lot to learn.

    You can expect bumps and bruises, they are part of the game.

    You can expect to make new friends and you can expect to have a lot of fun.

    My advice is;

    do the very best that you can,

    ice your owies (or see the doc if you have to),

    do whatever the coach asks of you, and

    never ever quit.


  2. you're in for a  rude awakening

    Honestly,  it's  crazy hard and  you'll feel like it's not  worth it  sometimes. But  after practice, you  feel really, really  good
