  1. I don't like to   neutering / spaying  any   animals, but it   control the  population of  animal   being  born  each   year....

  2. neuter/spay

i heard i helps increase good training and behavior

  3. Go for it.

  4. definitely spay and neuter! even if you find a home for any future puppies/kittens, you don't know for sure that they will be taken care off. there are enough pets in the world. it is more dangerous for them to have babies than to have the surgery.

  5. i am for spaying and neutering  so in the long run there is no uthinizing

  6. Absolutely neuter/spay.  The chances of anything going wrong is about the same for any surgery, including tooth cleaning--it's remote.

Taking the reproductive ability away also eliminates certain cancers, and dogs are very prone to cancer as they age.

  7. if you dont spay/neuter your dog s/he will become agressive and start to b doing things you dont what him or her to b doing  i kno it is very plesent but if u dog is a girl she will bleed pee all ovr your house so u really need to get them fixed before 7 months

  8. I'm all for it.

Vets perform this surgery so many times, it's very rare for something to go wrong. It's a very routine surgery. It also has a lot of health benefits. Here's hoping your unspayed female doesn't end up with pyometra or an oops litter.

  9. I have 5 dogs right now, 4 are spayed/neutered, 1 isn't.  The isn't is a 15 year old AKC champion b*tch that I just never got around to getting her done, and I'm certainly not going to expect her to undergo surgery at this late age.  I've also had no problems keeping her from reproducing.  Just not an issue, I keep her away from males when she's in heat.  The two girls that are in the house more than out, they were spayed as young puppies.  More as a convenience thing for me, dealing with one cycling b*tch, the blood clean up, etc...is enough for me.  I have no real issues one way or the other, other than the fact that I find it truly amusing that alot of the people who are anti-ear crop/tail dock are the first ones to jump up on the bandwagon for spay/neuter.  HELLOOOOOO!!!  To me, elective surgery is elective surgery.  So if it's OK to do the elective spay/neuter (which causes just as much discomfort as an ear crop/tail dock) then the other should be fine too.  When I used to have my show dogs, I had a lot of them that lived out their entire lives with their reproductive organs intact, and only had one that had any issues, one old girl developed mammary tumors at age 14, but the rest of them lived their lives out without all of the health issues that intact dogs are prone to, given the propaganda.  OK y'all....let the thumbs down begin.....

  10. There are definitely pros and cons, and its pretty rare that something will go wrong, but if you're worried, don't.

But you definitely are risking pregnancy by keeping her unspayed, and sometimes they get more aggressive if they're not spayed?

If you feel like she should keep it, then do it. :) You do what you think is best, but you have to watch her when she is heat, too! Lol
