Hey guys, little help if u can take the challange! ;)?

Question

i have a USB broadband wireless connection called "WIGO", from "cable 1"... i want to let numerous computers share internet from this connection ... help? :(

p.s: the exact procedures and ill pik u as a best answer:)

what hardware did your isp provide, did they give just a cable modem, if so you should then  buy additional hardware(router and wireless acess points)...if you want wireless connectivity you may need to spend something under 100 dollars...also how many computers do you have that need internet connectivity?

You'll need a router and depending on rather you want cables running to eatch computer or not youll have to go bay antennae devices to receive the signal from it.  Youll need one per computer, hook the net into your computer then ethernet from your PC to the router.  Set up your individual network connections on each computer, you can customize the options of your router via your main computer (the one that the router is hooked into) from there its just basic network creation which I'm sure you can handle with the wizard in the "Networks" panel.

You have to have a network first. Connect all your computers to a switch with 'ethernet cards', cat cable and RJ45 jacks.

Once you have a network, join all of them in a 'HomeGroup'.

Connect your internet connection to one computer. See you have internet on this computer.

Use Internet Connection Sharing from this computer (ICS). To do that, Right click the Wireless connection 'Wigo',select 'Share this connection'.

You can also connect all the computers using wireless cards on all the computers, but the method given above is the correct procedure.

get a wireless router and plug your Internet into the Internet n get wireless adapters for the rest n it shud work but make sure the adapters are the same as the router.
