  1. Turkey is +90.  If you are ringing her mobile you should just be able to get her with the +44 in front.  Don't forget she will be billed for receiving your call if you are ringing her mobile.

  2. Country code for Turkey is +90.

  3. If you are calling her UK mobile number then you leave it as 0044, but if you are calling her on a Turkish number then you drop the first 0 and add 0090.

    Good Luck

  4. For Turkey its "+90"

  5. with the modern networks her number should just be recognised even if it is not prefixed. if you are not sure then check her number is entered on your phone with the +44 (drop the first 0). it is a British number so it needs the British prefix. Same with texts.

My husband is Turkish and I phone him on his English mobile when he is  visiting his parents. Check with your network about her being billed, some do, some don't. you will probably find it better to text her as each text will cost you 35p.

Alternatively you could get her to buy a phone card and call you from a phone box, or go into a 'Turk telekom' and call from there, that's miles cheaper.
