  1. wow dude? how much you buy it for?

    d**n good salesman! lol

sell it unless you actually know how to surf.. then get another one.... i mean... lost? $300+ just go rent surfboards like 4 times a week for 3-4 hours a day. then when your good enough then get whatever. or just forget about getting rid of it and start renting!  prolly cost about

$5-$10 an hour? idk haven't gone in a while....

  2. Heres some of the best advice you will ever hear.

Make sure firstly you are a strong swimmer. Get to know the rips, and tides and mannerisms of your local break. Take in your surroundings at the beach, give yourself some room to move, and have a safety point of reference for yourself on the land so when you are out in the surf you can check in on your position.     One of the most important things is, dont drop in. People are great in general but they can get more nasty than a cut snake if you drop in.      Most importantly enjoy yourself. Its the best sport(way of life) you will ever imagine.

  3. Okay brother you will probably want to learn on a longer board, closer to 7.5 or 8 feet.  With a little practice you will learn to enjoy your shorter board but to start I would recommend renting a longer board for a couple of weeks.
