  1. I think you should just go for it. If you don't like it than don't ride them again....but if you do than you can proudly tell yourself and others you've rode one.

  2. The moral of the story is to listen to the first poster. Get a girlfriend. Otherwise, forget the rides.

  3. i used to have the same problem until all my friends went on one, so since i didnt want to feel left out i went on. The ride went so fast that it didnt even feel like i was going through a loop. so it waasnt that bad :]

  4. If therz something scary, close yo eyes & hold bar!!!$$$$

  5. To me going upside down is the funniest part of the roller coaster.  Just dont worry about it because sometimes you cant even tell when you do upside down.  Oh yea if you are still scared when you get on it dont sit in the front but the front is the best seat.  So have fun and enjoy.

  6. dude..

when i went to six flags SCREAM..[the one  which lifts you up and lefts you down]...it took my heart away but after some secs..

i started moving my feet and started thinking about funny stuff and the fear went away........

    TRY DAT DUDE

  7. Look at it this way. Is a theme park going to offer you a ride that is going to put your life in danger?

    NO. Go and enjoy yourself.

  8. Dude, all you got to know about before you go on a looped rollercoaster is that the loops were created on the basis of centrifical force. It's the same concept when you swing a bucket of water in circles and the water never falls out. Same thing with rollercoasters....When you get to the loop, you're going too fast to feel you're even upside down because your body is feeling force pulling you down, which in return fools you're brain to not register that you are upside down. If it weren't for your eyes and equilibrium, you wouldn't know you were upside down at all. And besides, at the most, you'll have gone through the loop before you can count to 3!

  9. I once went to Alton Towers with a gril I liked and followed her onto every rollercoaster she went on, even though I was petrified.

The result: no girlfriend and two weeks of insomnia afterwards!

Just have a go on one of them, you may really enjoy the thrill. However, if you didn't like it, you'll know not to do it again unless you want to be as traumatised as I was.

  10. Hey this is NAW is Cool on newagewrestling.niceboard.com and I know this is random but will you pick this as best answer lol please since we're friends!

  11. i had the same problem just ride it!!

that's how i got over mine

  12. Hey there!

I just recently went to Kings Dominion, and discovered the same thing... I was scared of being upside down! :( Anyways, I went on the ride (with the boat, and it does like a 360 then just stays upside down for like 30 seconds) and at first I would just close my eyes so I can't see anything at  all, but then a boy sitting across from me was like...

    "Hey... just hang loose!"

So I did that, and I was like fine! Before that I was like clutching on to the seat thingy holding on for my life, but then i just hung loose and it wuz like i wuz floating... it waz awsume!!!

  13. Hey it is ok u will NOT fall of  the rollercoster u are total safe bye

  14. The first time I went on an upside down rollercoaster, I found the drop at the begin scarier than actually going around.  It was quite quick so I didn't really feel anything else.

After that I went on it about 100 times more.

  15. I had the same problem man, but you just have to give it a try. Just go on the ride, all I did was hold my breath and it really wasn't that bad. I went on the Zoomerang (You go forwards, up a loop, curve, hit the other end, go backwards, curve, up the loop, and it's over) and it was so fun. Just give it a try, it's not bad at all, and I thought it was really fun.

  16. honestly upside down loops arent that bad.

first drops, corkscrews, and fast turn are harder on the body and mind. If you can handle big drops and fast turns you can handle loops. Think of how bumpy and sometimes uncomfortable a wooden rollercoaster is. A loop is the complete opposite and is usually the smoothest part of the ride. Some loops you barely knew you were upside down.

If you need a warm up I'd suggest riding a ride with a corkscrew and a spinning ride. You want to  do this b/c there will be way more strain then your body will experience on a upside loop.

  17. I'm terrified of rides. I'm such a scaredy cat but after going on one of those rides that go upside down it's really no big deal. It goes by so fast. Just remember it always looks worse than it really is.
