  1. Feed them separately. It is not okay for your dog to regularly eat cat food. You should also look into a higher quality cat food as Goodlife is pretty low quality.

  2. cat food has too much  protein in it specifically designed for the CAT not the DOG. Dog's should eat dog food because it is specifically designed for DOGS.He can seriously become ill or even die if he continues with this bad behavior.Feed your dog at a specific time of day and the cat because your cat will get fat if you just leave food out for him all day, same with dog.Feed your dog once a day or twice a day dividing one whole meal, after he is 9 months old.You should have the dog bowls in a seperate room from the cat.If you ever see your dog or cat trying to eat eachother's food, clap your hands real loud and say"awt!" or "no!" then redirect them to their own food bowls.if they don't leave and just stand their or continue to eat, give them a little push away from the bowl.If he just stands there, put him into the room where his food is.

Never hit your dog.Never yell at your dog.

Good luck with your cat and dog.

  3. Its ok my chihuahua used to eat cat food until our grandma shot us up about it but it is fine! They have the same nutrients in them and all that jazz. Just not to much

  4. Feed you cat on a cupboard or somewhere your dog can't get it. Or just teach the dog no every time she gets near the food say no and move her back . Cat food will give your dog the runs and is not good for a dog.Lots of dog and cat food are not the best for your animal be sure you check the ingredients in each read what is be put in them if meat is not the first  thing change foods

  5. no its not but if you try to switch him abck to regular dog food then it will be bad you can still switch him back now they just say that it is really bad to switch a cat or dogs brand of food

  6. cat food can kill a dog, it is much drier than dog food,  mixed with the water expands

  7. this is So not suppose  to happen to him! It can cause him cancer! It's not like he will start meowing though that would be weird having a meowing dog lol!

  8. Cat food has different levels of protein/fat. It also contains different nutrients.

It's not healthy for a dog to eat cat food on a regular basis. The dog will not be getting proper nutrition.

Put the cat's food someplace where the dog can't reach, like on top of the clothes dryer.

    .

  9. If it's a mouthful here or there it's not going to hurt, but if the dog is eating a lot of cat food it can cause organ damage.

  10. No its not OK because it has too much protein for the dog. Good Life isn't good for your cats either.

A better food is felidae,Evo,Blue,Pet Promise.

You should put the cats food up higher so your dog can't reach it.

  11. it is okay but it should be eating its own food because it is better for them and a suggestion would be to get dog food that it likes better to keep him out of your cats bowl and visaversa

  12. As long as it is not his main meal source, it's fine.

They like it because of the higher protein. My dogs will raid the cat's bowl too.

Funny thing, my cat eats dog food...go figure.
