I think that Genshiken would be perfect for your anime club. First of all it's about an anime club, it's funny and you can all challenge each others knowledge of anime. Other that that try Honey and Clover, Paradise Kiss, Mushishi. Also if you guys haven't viewed them go through the Makoto Shinkai films, because they're absolutely gorgeous and try some Miyazaki as well.
