Hey guyz i have 07 mustang V6 4.0 Auto trans and i;m thinking can i put a turbo kit on it?

do you guys think the autmatic trans would be able to handle the turbo or i need to swicth it to stick? if i have swap for stick how much would it cost? i got this car as a gift from grandpa and now i have driven it about 18K now im thinking to get some more horses on it

a stick would be better because you get to choose the gear that your in. In an automatic it chooses for you. Sometimes a stick cost less and an automatic also depending where you bu it.

also I would recommend the changing main engine parts to performance ones crank, cam, pistons, also automatic could handle it but if it will It will wear much sooner I give it 2 years at most, If i would do that I'd say get a scat kit for the engine and rebuild TKO500-600 (chipper+g-force gears) If you will do it yourself than should be about $3000-$7000+ (you can get a 95 300zx tween turbo with manual tranny for those money than just upgrade the turbos and you will have the same result then rebuilding the whole engine  and making a tranny swap) and the mustang come on its getting too famous just like those rice burners civics Type R's with a K20A engines it's all trash get a GTO  Porshe 300zx 34GTR (skyline) Subaru Viper BMW v10 M6 couple but ALL OF THEM SHOULD HAVE A MANUAL TRANNY or at least sports transmatic (GTO and eclipses offers one)

Roush and Saleen both make power adders for 6 banger Mustangs. Your trans will hold up unless you get bit by the racing bug, then you'll have to upgrade.
