Hey help me ipod video 30 gb serial number 10 points?

ok i bought a 30gb ipod video from some guy and he got it from someone where can i check on line where it was bought en i no she moved so i need help and its not apple.com please help me

Did you just check the apple site or did you send an email to ipod support.  You may have better luck with an email.  If you don't want them to know who you are, create a gmail account just for the purpose.

If you have a mac, you can d/l CoconutIdentityCard and it can tell you where it was made and the month/year, or whether it had been reported as stolen, but that's about it.
