  1. Is the tub fiberglass or porcelain?  If porcelain, wet the entire surface and sprinkle Ajax with Bleach all over.  Rub it in a little to make sure the entire surface is damp and covered.  Go away for about a half hour.  Come back, scrub lightly and rinse.  The tub should be sparkling and clean.  If the tub is fiberglass, use Chlorox Clean-up.  Open all the windows, spray it on, go away for a while, then rinse.  Note that on old porcelain tubs, the porcelain can wear away so if your tub is old and you've tried everything but the "dirt" won't go away, it may be the dark underlying material showing through.  In that case, the only remedy is to reglaze or get a new tub.  Good luck.

  2. Try warm vinegar, pouring it onto the stains leaving it for a while then wipe away and wash...try pouring vinegar on a small area that is not easily seen first to check that your tub doesn't corrode with acids.

You can also try that "Cillit Bang" thing or "Viakal", they work pretty d**n well.

  3. I am a professional cleaner and this is what you should do.  First use Scrubbing Bubbles- spray it on and let it sit for at least 10 mins and use a cloth to wipe off the stain.  If that doesn't work use a scotch bright pad to scrub it with Scrubbing Bubbles.  If that still doesn't work move on to Comet scrubbing cleanser this will work wonders in a bath tub.  If you do have to use a scotch bright pad make sure it doesn't scratch the surface if it is a plastic surface.

  4. Mix methylated spirit with little cleaning soap then scrub.

  5. The best thing I have used is those magic erasers. They are great on everything!

  6. The best thing I have ever used is called "Awesome" you can buy it at a dollar store. It works on everything!!!! Just a dollar to buy a miracle. Really, that is what it is called Awesome.

  7. mix up half a bowl of warm water with a cup of baking soda with half vinegar, mix it up and rub with a cloth on the stains and wash off.

  8. It depend on the spot. if it's a mildew, mold or water stain. these 3 specific stains are bad. just buy mildew and mold stain remover(Rubbermaid) is good. for the water stain Lime Away is good.

  9. Kaboom works well and it does not smell so bad you have to stay out of the bathroom for hours.
